Hi,

I was successful at doing a LAN meeting in Netmeeting (between two computers
sharing a router) but I am having trouble using it in a WAN (on the
internet).

1- Using XP on main computer, 98 2nd edition on Laptop

2- I disconnected both my computers from my linksys router.

3- On my main computer, I am plugged directly into my modem. (I am up and
running fine.)

4- ON computer 2 (a laptop with a dock station), I have a dial up
connection. (I am up and running fine)

PROBLEM:

-When I dial from the laptop to the Main computer (or vice-versa) I get
these messages from the calling/dialing computer: "waiting for a response
from (ip number)"

-ON the receiving computer, I hear the phone ring and I accept the call.
However, I cannot "share" or "chat" or use any of the Net meeting features.

Anyone know the solution?

Any constructive input is greatly appreciated!

It is considered bad form to post the same message in many newsgroups at the
same time. Pick one that seems appropriate and wait for a response. If you
don't get a response you can try in another.
