Hi,

I switched to broadband from a dialup connection. Now that
I've a high speed connection I switched to "Large" picture
under "Send image size" in the video tab under options.
Once I select Large the size of my window increases. But
once I accept the call, the size goes back to medium and
the large size radio button is disabled.

I distinctly remember using the large size picture when I
had broadband connection before and it worked fine. Even
the size of the "My view" window used to be large. Since
then I've uninstalled and re-installed netmeeting once.
I've windows XP home edition. My sister has windows 98 it
works fine for her i.e. the large picture size.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I am not sure what is causing your move back to Medium size.

Are you running SP2 ? I don't see that effect. How is this call being made?

Regardless though I suspect that the large size is too large even for your
broadband connection.

Generally "broadband" connections do not have enough upstream bandwidth for
the large size video -- what is your nominal upstream bandwidth?

How did you do that ? NetMeeting cannot be uninstalled or reinstalled on
NetMeeting. There is a procedure that will reinitialize the registry
though -- is that what you did?

As it does for me on XP.
