Netmeeting servers & Directories

Hi,
Can someone please tell me how people are able to have their name listed in
several different directories simultaneously.
I believe that most of the Netmeeting directories are not run by Microsoft,
so who does control them ?

http://www.nmtoolbox.com/ has that feature ( I think there are other pieces
of software around that have that capability as well).

I believe that most of the Netmeeting directories are not run by Microsoft,

Microsoft has not operated an ILS server since 1999 -- so "all" of the
NetMeeting directories are not run by Microsoft.

so who does control them ?

No one organization or individual "controls" them -- they are run by 3rd
party organizations usually using software that is supplied as part of
Win2000 server.
