Hi,
I have a win98 P100 system, stand alone, not networked, that wants a
password everytime I turn it on. It doesn't have a password. I hit the
escape button and it continues to load.

Is there a way to make it skip the password window, and just turn all the
way on by itself?

Thanks,

Allen

This is not NetMeeting related ( the subject of this forum) but assuming
this system is not a multi user system ( for which each user needs a
password)afaik you should disable the Windows Network Client (the exact
procedure I don't remember and I have no Win98 systems to test with).

You can also delete the .pwl (password list file) in the
Windows directory and reboot. When it asks for a
password just hit enter and it shouldnt ask again.

go to control panel and networking and deselect client for
microsoft network, and you will never see the password
window again.
