I am unable to receive sound when sharing a remote
application.
Can anyone help me with this as it should be possible.

I am not sure where/why sharing the application is a factor.

When you say you are unable to receive sound -- are you expecting the sound
that the application is generating to be received at your end (it will not
unless the sound card has a mechanism that allows a channel of playing sound
to be directed to the recording mix)?

Do you recieve sound at all (via the mic?)? Can you recieve video from the
remote end?
