I'm running win98 with 512mb ram with multipul type type cameras which all
work fine. One camera is a 3COM Robotics camera on a capture card using the
RRS - BookTree driver BT848 ver 2.2.375 and works fine with all the other
applications on the system.

However, if I try to use this camera with messenger, it reports it in use?
All other cameras work fine. You might say, just use the other cameras.
Well, this is the best camera of all, it has the clearity of a VCR recorder.
(display anyway) anyone one have something to offer in getting this to work?

If this is a problem with Msn Messenger you might have more success posting
to:

microsoft.public.msn.messenger
